Dover boy’s basketball hands Cape first loss of season in conference road win

LEWES, Del. – Dover boy’s basketball put away Cape 65-49 on Tuesday night in Lewes.

Gridlocked at 4-4 midway through the first quarter, the Senators took hold of the game with a 10-0 run that had them up by eight after eight minutes played.

Dover kept Cape at arm’s length the rest of the way, with the Vikings only drawing within single-digits briefly at 37-28 in the third quarter. The Senators were able to close it out down the stretch to hand Cape their first loss of the season.

Dover was led offensively by Terrance Williams’ 20 points, with Chase Little and JayVion Dennis adding 13 and 12.
