Dorchester Historical Society Preparing to Close Out 2025

(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – One Dorchester County group is getting ready to close out the year with a bang.

The Dorchester County Historical Society is inviting people to the Meredith House in Cambridge for their Seasonal Sips Event.

This will be the historical society’s final event in 2025.

Members say they’re looking forward to closing out the year with a celebration of local history, and are preparing for what lies ahead with Maryland 250 next year.

“This is a chance for me to let the public know how excited I am to share and bring multiple aspects of history to multiple generations. A bit of living history. A chance that in the New Year this site is going to be used and open to all,” says Historical Society Director Marcos Salaverria

The event will take place Saturday, December 20th at the Meredith House from 11 A.M. to 3 P.M.
