Abandoned House Catches Fire in Frankford

FRANKFORD, Del. – The Frankford and Roxana volunteer fire companies responded to a fire at an abandoned house on Saturday evening.

At 5:54 p.m. on Dec. 6, crews were alerted to an outside fire at Pepper Road and Gum Road. They arrived to find a one story house fully involved.

Due to the abandoned nature of the home, only exterior operations were performed. Crews reportedly operated for just under two hours before returning to service.
