Two-Vehicle Crash in Millsboro Kills Elderly Man

MILLSBORO, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal crash in that killed a 76-year-old man on Friday afternoon.

At 2:30 p.m. on Nov. 7, a Dodge Ram was traveling westbound on John J. Williams Highway approaching Layton Davis Road. At the same time, a Ford F-450 box truck was traveling eastbound on John J. Williams Highway. For reasons still under investigation, the Dodge crossed the center line and entered the eastbound lane of travel. Subsequently, the front of the Dodge struck the front left side of the Ford.

The driver of the Dodge, identified as Peter Roskowski of Millsboro, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Ford, a 63-year-old man from Cape Coral, Florida, was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The DSP Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this crash. Troopers ask anyone who witnessed the crash or has relevant information to contact Senior Corporal J.
