SCPS Awarded $30K from Community Foundation Grant

SOMERSET COUNTY, Md. – Tonight’s Good News, brought to you in part by Matt the Carpet Guy, coming from Somerset County Public Schools (SCPS) and the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore.

SCPS was awarded more than $30,000 in funding through the foundation’s Education Grants Program. The grant program provides annual support for K-12 initiatives on the Lower Shore that make a difference in our children’s lives.

In Somerset County, this money will be used for hands-on learning, family engagement, and student achievement.
