Salisbury Zoo hosts Wild Vibes Festival
SALISBURY, Md. — The Salisbury Zoo is hosting its second annual Wild Vibes Festival on Saturday. The festival will feature four musical performances from local and regional artists.
It is part of a fundraising initiative for a new coati habitat, which organizers hope to break ground on by the end of the year.
The 21-and-older event will include craft beer and wine tastings with admission, as well as food vendors, animal-themed games, and the animals.
“We have four bands coming. We have Carley Twigg, who’ll be performing and opening up. We have the Leroy Burks Band, Bryan and the Barn Owls, and our headliner is Cody Tyler and the Gypsy Convoy. He’s coming all the way from North Carolina, so we’re really excited to have him,” said Jamie Nichols, development supervisor at the Salisbury Zoo.
The festival kicks off at 1 p.m. and wraps up at 5 p.m. General admission tickets are $45. Non-drinking passes and admission for zoo members are $25.
