Salisbury Police Arrest Two for Armed Robbery
SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury Police Department have arrested two in connection with an armed robbery that took place on Wednesday night.
At 10:14 p.m. on Nov. 19, police responded to the area of Winterborn Lane in reference to an armed robbery with an AR style weapon. The suspects were identified as 31-year-old Cash Jamal Almond and 37-year-old Shannon Ashley Cronin, and were seen driving an older GMC Envoy.
Officers were able to locate the GMC and the weapon, later identified as a BB gun. Both Almond and Cronin were placed under arrest and charged with armed robbery, first degree assault, and second degree assault. They were processed and released to the Wicomico County Detention Center.
