Portion of Cambridge Boardwalk to Close
(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – If you’re looking to go for a walk along the Choptank River any time soon, you might want to look elsewhere.
Dorchester County is temporarily closing a part of the Malkus Bridge Boardwalk due to safety concerns.
In a public notice sent out by the county, officials announced the closure of the section that stretches from the pier, under the Eastbound portion of Route 50 on the Malkus Bridge.
This comes as the county is evaluating repairs to the fishing pier.
No timeline has been given for how long the closure will be in effect for.
