Operation We Care needs your help!!

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. — A local organization is preparing for the holiday season by sending care packages to active duty military members all around the world.

Operation We Care is calling on the community for help with more supplies. Founder Jeff Merritt said they need lots of supplies but in particular, canned Chef Boyardee – microwave popcorn, bagged ramen noodles and snacks like that.

They also need men’s personal hygiene products like body wash,  deodorant, and razors.

Jeff Merritt said, “We do want to, show that that we appreciate their service to our country through their dedication, the sacrifices that they make, you know, being away from their friends and family for extended periods of time. You know, I think we owe that to them.”

This round of donations will go out in care packages over the next week but Operation We Care needs support all year round.
