MDOT Conducting Multiple Projects in Dorchester Co. in Early December

DORCHESTER COUNTY, Md. – The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) State Highway Administration will be conducting multiple projects in Dorchester County in the coming weeks.

Resurfacing Project on MD 392 (Finchville Reliance Road)

Roadwork will take place on the stretch of MD 392 between MD 313 (Eldorado Road) and the Delaware line, starting Monday, Dec. 1. The project is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, weather permitting.

The project includes milling, paving, and restriping. Drivers can expect daytime single-lane closures Mondays through Fridays, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Arrow boards, cones, and flaggers will be utilized to safely guide motorists through the work zone. The single-lane closures will be in place until the project has been completed.

Stormwater Pipe Replacement on MD 331 (Rhodesdale Vienna Road)

The installation will take place at MD 331 at Indian Grant Road in Vienna, starting Tuesday, Dec. 2. The work is expected to be complete by Friday, Dec. 5, weather permitting.

Drivers can expect single-lane closures from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as crews replace the failed pipe. Barrels, cones, and flaggers will be utilized to safely guide motorists through the work zone. The single lane closures will be in place until the project has been completed.
