Hurlock Holds Veteran’s Day Ceremony

(HURLOCK, Md) – Another North Dorchester County community honored those who served.

The Town of Hurlock, alongside American Legion Post 243 did so with a small ceremony in the town Tuesday morning.
And there was quite the turnout for the ceremony.

Mayor-Elect, Earl Murphy met with WMDT just before the ceremony, and said people of all ages in the town paying their respects.

“It’s something where we make sure that we remember those who served our country and keep our country free continuously. It’s just an opportunity that we come together as a family, members of the town to enjoy this moment, to recognize those who continue to keep our country free…” says Murphy.

Mayor Charles Cephas was unable to attend due to a medical emergency.
