Frankford Man Arrested on Felony Charges after Probation & Parole Search

FRANKFORD, Del. – The Delaware State Police have arrested a man on felony drug and gun charges following a Probation & Parole search on Monday night.

On Nov. 10 at 8:30 p.m., the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force was requested by Probation & Parole after they conducted an administrative search at the residence of 20-year-old probationer, Malachi Mahon of Frankford. During the search of the residence, probation officers found 6.44 grams of crack-cociane and 50.43 grams of marijuana. Officers also recovered a Glock 9mm handgun.

Mahon was subsequently detained without incident. A child was in the residence as the time.

Mahon was arrested and taken to Troop 4, where he was charged with possession of a controlled substance, intent to distribute, and other related drug and gun charges. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $36,601 cash bond.
