Emergency Closure of Coverdale Road in Seaford

SEAFORD, Del. – The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) has announced the immediate closure of Coverdale Road, between Hastings Farm Road and Seashore Highway, beginning on Friday, Nov. 21, through mid December. 

Officials say the closure is necessary for bridge inspection and repairs.

Motorists traveling in the area are advised to use Wilson Hill Road as a detour. Motorists should also use caution and expect delays in the area.
