Dover Police Investigating Shooting on New Castle Ave

DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place Tuesday evening.

At 5:42 p.m. on Nov. 11, police responded to the area of New Castle Avenue and Kent Avenue for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival on the scene, officers contacted the victim, who reported that she was driving in an alley when a suspect began shooting at her vehicle, striking her windshield. No one was injured during this incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’8″ tall and possibly between 16 and 18-years-old. Police have no additional leads at this time.
