Dorchester Chamber Preparing for 5th Annual Ice & Oyster Fest in January

(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – The Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce is getting things set for one of its biggest new traditions.

The Chamber is getting the word out now for their 5th Annual Ice and Oyster Festival…
taking place in January.

Chamber President, Bill Christopher says they’ve had an increase in crowd size each year, with the goal of reaching 10 thousand festival goers in January, just after the holiday season.

“That’s you to choose for the restaurants and retail shops downtown. The hotels, obviously get filled up as well, which is great. So it really is kind of in January usually just, you know, not much going on. Everything’s kind of very, very slow, which is why we were looking forward to that kind of fill that void. And this one did it,” says Bill.
