Concrete Truck Engulfed in Flames in Selbyville

SELBYVILLE, Del. – Firefighters responded to a commercial vehicle fire on Tuesday evening.

Crews from the Selbyville Volunteer Fire Company responded to the Food Lion on DuPont Boulevard for a fire involving a concrete truck.

Members of the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control and Millsboro Fire Company Hazmat Units responded to provide assistance with fluids leaking from the truck towards a ditch. Delaware Department of Transportation units were on the scene to provide support with traffic control and a sand truck to help mitigate the leaking fluids.

No injuries were reported in relation to this incident.
