Milford Sophomore Builds Nutcracker Throne

MILFORD, Del. – Tonight’s Good News, brought to you in part by Matt the Carpet Guy, coming from the TADA School of Dance in Milford.

This year’s Nutcracker performance will feature a special prop.

Milford High School Sophomore Finn McPherson built a handcrafted throne dubbed the Sweet Seat.

He did it as part of his Eagle Scout Service Project, but didn’t complete this creation alone. Other scouts, family members, and community volunteers helped Finn out — marking a sweet moment of not just furniture building, but also community building.
