Woman Arrested for Shooting Man in Accomack County
MELFA, Va. – The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a woman in connection with a shooting that took place on Tuesday night.
At approximately 9:40 p.m. on Sept. 28, deputies responded to Pine Ridge Drive for reports of a gunshot victim. Upon their arrival, they discovered a male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The male victim was transported to Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, and later medevacked to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He is listed in stable condition.
An investigation into this incident led to a warrant being obtained for 30-year-old Keshiana Nicole Johnson of Melfa for malicious wounding. Johnson was taken into custody and is currently incarcerated in the Accomack County Jail with bond denied.
