Two Men Arrested for Witness Retaliation in Wicomico Co.

SALISBURY, Md. – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two men on charges of witness retaliation after an incident that took place last Tuesday.

At approximately 11:44 a.m. on Oct. 21, deputies responded to an altercation that took place outside of the Wicomico County Circuit Court.

During an active homicide trial, 24-year-old Camren My’son Ali Colon and 22-year-old Izreal Messiah Wallace, both of Salisbury, were seated in the courtroom audience. The two men observed the testimony of a witness in the trial. After the testimony concluded, Colon and Wallace followed the witness out of the courthouse.

According to deputies, Colon and Wallace confronted and attempted to assault the witness, while shouting insults pertaining to the subject’s testimony. Deputies quickly intervened, separating the parties and preventing further escalation.

Both Colon and Wallace were detained at the scene and subsequently arrested. They have both been charged with retaliating against a witness, obstructing justice, disorderly conduct, and attempted second degree assault. They are currently being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center without bond.
