Two Dover Men Arrested for Early Morning Burglary
DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police have arrested two men for a burglary attempt that took place early Monday morning.
At approximately 4:00 a.m. on Oct. 6, troopers responded to the 400 block of Fork Branch Road for a report of two black male suspects attempting to open the front door of a residence. Upon arrival on the scene, officers checked the property and found the suspects standing outside of the home’s garage. The suspects were identified as 28-year-old Daquan Nocks and 31-year-old Maleek Gamble, both of Dover.
A preliminary investigation revealed that Nocks gave false information to the responding troopers while in possession of the homeowner’s property that was taken from an unlocked vehicle inside the garage. Both Nocks and Gamble were taken into custody.
Nocks was charged with third degree burglary and making a false statement to police. He was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $4,000 secured bond.
Gamble was charged with third degree burglary. He was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on a $3,500 secured bond.
