Three Men Arrested in Connection with Death of 19-Year-Old in Queenstown
QUEENSTOWN, Md. – The Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff (QACSO) have arrested three men in connection with a shooting death that took place earlier this year.
At approximately 1:15 a.m. on June 1, deputies and emergency services responded to the 1500 block of Centreville Road in Queenstown for a report of shots fired involving multiple victims. Upon arrival, responders found 19-year-old Christopher Parsley with an apparent gunshot wound. Units attempted life-saving measures, but Parsley was ultimately pronounced deceased at the scene.
The QACSO Criminal Investigation Unit launched an investigation into this incident, partnering with several federal, state, and local partners, including Maryland and Delaware State Police, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation Baltimore-Annapolis Field Office.
After an extensive investigation and review of all evidence, the case was brought before a Queen Anne’s County Grand Jury. The Grand Jury returned indictments, and on Monday, Oct. 6, arrest warrants were issued for 19-year-old Kamryn Andrews of Seaford, Delaware, 20-year-old James Lawson of Queenstown, and 27-year-old Travis Lissau of Centreville. They all face charges of attempted second degree murder, manslaughter, and first degree assault, amongst others.
On Wednesday, Oct. 8, QACSO deputies took all three men into custody, and they are currently being held without bond.
“This investigation reflects the strength of collaboration between our community and our law enforcement partners,” said Sheriff Gary Hofmann in a statement. “As the investigation continues, every tip, video, and witness account remains vital to bringing closure for Chris’s family and our community. We have zero tolerance for crime in Queen Anne’s County and will always stand up for victims who no longer have a voice.”
An investigation into the death of Christopher Parsley remains ongoing. Investigators continue to seek information from the public and encourage anyone who may have details related to this case to contact the Anonymous Tip Line at 410-758-6666, or send an email to sheriff-info@qac.org.
