Third Friday is brewing up weird science!

SALISBURY, Md. — Third Friday returns this week in Salisbury with a “spooktacular” theme: Weird Science.

The city is bringing in “mad scientists” from the Delmarva Discovery Museum, Salisbury University, Minds in Motion Children’s Museum and Night Watch Childcare. Officials said people may be dressing up in costumes and that there will be more opportunities to get spooky throughout October.

Victoria Idoni, communications director for the city of Salisbury, said, “They’re going to be helping with everything from making slime to extracting DNA from fruit. There’s going to be music. It’s also going to be our third TAPS event. So, for those eligible adults, you’re welcome to go around to our four bars that are inside the footprint and enjoy responsibly during the event.”

Downtown parking will be free after 4 p.m. Friday and throughout the weekend.
