Spooky Science Spectacular comes to Salisbury
SALISBURY, Md. — Salisbury University has some fun Halloween activities in store for Friday. This year, the university is hosting a Spooky Science Spectacular on Halloween in conjunction with SU’s community trick-or-treat event on Camden Avenue.
Guests of all ages are invited to enjoy hands-on science experiments with a spooky twist. Visitors can make spooky slime, solve mysteries using pumpkin DNA, and make ice cream in a cauldron. The event is sponsored by SU’s Henson School of Science and Technology.
“We have the ability to try out your potion making skills making some creepy fluorescent slime, you can tap into the light side or the dark side of the force with our atomic emission lightsaber test, you can explore the cosmos at our planetarium and let’s not forget stopping by our bubbling cauldron to see our liquid nitrogen ice cream,” SU Chemistry Professor Dr. Joshua Sokolski said.
The free event will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 PM on Halloween. Visitors can park at the Scarborough Lot on SU’s campus.
