Seaford Middle School Student Struck by Vehicle while Crossing Road

SEAFORD, Del. – The Seaford School District announced on Wednesday afternoon that a student was struck by a vehicle while crossing the road.

The student from Seaford Middle School was crossing the street in a designated crosswalk by Family Dollar when they were struck by a vehicle in the area. First responders arrived immediately to secure the scene and provide care. Authorities say the student was transported to the hospital as a precaution and is expected to be okay.

The Seaford School District thanks the first responders for their quick action.
