Salisbury Chamber hosting Mayoral Forum on Thursday
BERLIN, Md. – The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce will host the Mayors of Delmarva on Thursday. The special panel discussion and luncheon will take place at the Ocean Downs Events Center starting at 11:30 a.m.
It will include officials from ten cities and towns across the Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia Eastern Shore.
According to Chamber President Bill Chambers, mayors will address issues with state budgets, dropped tourism budgets, and how ICE activity has impacted Delmarva.
“What people are going to hear about is each mayor’s take on immigration, customs enforcement. That’s been the hot topic in large cities, but also these smaller towns and cities, Salisbury being among them.”
The event is open to the public, and tickets are going fast.
