Roundabout Construction in Milford Begins; Closure on Airport Rd

MILFORD, Del. – A portion of Airport Road is closed, starting today, in preparation for the construction of a new roundabout in Milford.

Airport Road, from Delaware Veterans Boulevard to Canterbury Road, will be closed to all traffic. The intersection of Airport Road and Canterbury Road will be closed to all traffic as well, starting Monday, Nov. 24.

Both of these closures will be in place for the duration of roadwork, until Mar. 6, 2026.

Motorists in the area are required to follow the posted detour plan. Access to business and residences in the area will remain open. The City apologizes for the inconvenience.
