Road Paving Preparation Begins in Cambridge
CAMBRIDGE, Md. – The City of Cambridge will be undergoing a series of street paving operations in the coming weeks.
Streets are currently organized on a tentative schedule, with milling and preparatory work being done in the days prior to paving. Scheduling may change, depending on weather conditions.
“We know many residents have wondered when their streets will be paved — and we appreciate your patience,” said City Commissioner Brian Roche on social media. “Both the current and prior City Councils have worked diligently to reintroduce and follow the paving plan developed by our engineering consultants, which ensures streets are resurfaced in the order of greatest need. This approach is the most cost-effective and responsible use of taxpayer funds and helps us make steady, fair progress citywide.”
The City thanks its residents for their patience and cooperation during this project.
