Rehoboth Beach swings into fall with Jazz Festival

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. — The sounds of smooth jazz are filling the air in Rehoboth Beach as the 2025 Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival kicks off, drawing music lovers from across the country.

Organizers say this year’s festival is already nearly sold out, but visitors without tickets can still enjoy plenty of live music. Local restaurants and venues downtown are hosting their own performances, offering diners a chance to enjoy meals alongside live jazz acts.

“We are doing very well this year—we’re sold out in most places, though there are still a few seats left,” said Harry “Bing” Crosby, director of the Delaware Celebration of Jazz. “There’s music happening throughout the city. A lot of restaurants are bringing in their own musicians, so if you’re eating downtown, you might be sitting next to a quartet playing.”

The annual festival has become a major cultural event for the region, offering a mix of national acts and local talent in a beachside setting.
