Police Investigating Residential Shooting in Dover; One Injured
DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured one on Wednesday night.
At approximately 11:50 p.m. on Oct. 29, police responded to the 300 block of Mockingbird Avenue for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival on the scene, officers located a 33-year-old man of Dover with a gunshot wound to his lower body. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and later released.
A preliminary investigation by police determined that an unknown Black male shot the victim inside of a residence and then fled. Police have no additional leads at this time.
