Pocomoke City to Temporarily Close Market St. for Water Valve Repair

POCOMOKE CITY, Md. – The City of Pocomoke is alerting residents to a closure on Market Street that will be in place on Wednesday, Oct. 22, for an emergency valve replacement.

Market Street will be closed from Second Street to Vine Street, beginning around 9:00 a.m. The water service will be interrupted for approximately three hours, between 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The interruption will affect residents in the area starting on Market Street and Second Street, down to the intersection on Linden Avenue.

Market Street is expected to fully reopen before schools let out at 3:00 p.m.
