Pet-Friendly Barktober event returns to Tanger Outlets in Rehoboth Beach

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. — If you’re looking for a fun, free activity the whole family — including your four-legged friends — can enjoy, head to Tanger Outlets in Rehoboth Beach this weekend for Barktober.

The outdoor, pet-friendly event runs Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Tanger Seaside and features local vendors, giveaways, photo opportunities, and hands-on crafts designed with pets in mind.

“There will be a paint and create station where you can make a canvas painting using your dog’s paw or nose print,” said Michele Doucette, marketing director for Tanger Rehoboth. “It’ll be a safe environment for your family to come out and enjoy a fun afternoon together.”

Barktober is open to the public and encourages community members of all ages — and breeds — to celebrate the season in a relaxed and festive setting.
