Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department has fundraising events

OCEAN PINES, Md. – The Ocean Pines Fire Department has fundraising events coming up.

• November 3rd, the department and community members will participate in a golf tournament. The tournament will take place at the Ocean Pines Golf Club.

• The Maryland Firefighters 50-50 raffle weekly drawing is on Thursdays at 8 p.m. The statewide effort has generated $1 million in just 89 days. Click on Ocean Pines to support the department.  Click here for more information.

• On November 7th, the department will have a fall bingo night with cash prizes and raffles. Doors open at 5 p.m. with doors starting at 6 p.m. Tickets available here.

• The 2025 Jeep Wrangler Raffle will also help fundraise money with a drawing on December 20th. Tickets are $100. The winner will drive away with a new car. Tickets available here.

According to Chief Joe Enste, these events benefit both the community and the department. “More opportunities we can have to engage in our community, the better it’s going to be for the excitement and engagement with the department, which will recruit volunteers, but also raise awareness for fire prevention,” said Chief Enste. “Every opportunity we have for our events and fundraisers helps bridge the gap, to help educate the community and better build those relationships.”
