MSP Arrest Four in Connection with Armed Robbery in Talbot Co.
EASTON, Md. – The Maryland State Police (MSP) announced on Tuesday that they have made four arrests in connection with an armed robbery that took place in August earlier this year.
At approximately 8:23 p.m. on Aug. 13, troopers from the MSP Easton Barrack responded to a residence in Trappe for a report of an armed robbery. A preliminary investigation by authorities indicated that four armed individuals forced entry into the residence and stole various items, including a firearm, clothes, and a wallet, all belonging to the tenants. The tenants were home at the time of the robbery and were reported uninjured.
Throughout the course of the investigation, troopers were able to identify the suspects as 22-year-old Imari Jackson of Hurlock, 19-year-old Aamad Turner of Easton, and two juveniles, aged 15 and 17-years old, of Hurlock and Cordova, respectively. On the morning of Oct. 21, authorized search and seizure warrants on four residences resulted in the recovery of three firearms, ammunition, and various items of stolen property.
Jackson, Turner and the 17-year-old are charged with home invasion, first-degree burglary, armed robbery, first-degree assault and other related charges. The 17-year-old is being charged as an adult. All three were transported to the Talbot County Detention Center, where they are awaiting initial appearance before a district court commissioner. The 15-year-old is being held at a Juvenile Detention Facility.
An investigation into the incident remains active and ongoing.
