Mobile Home Destroyed in Fire in Rehoboth Beach
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – A single wide mobile home in the Bay Vista community was destroyed after an intense fire on Sunday evening.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., crews from Rehoboth Beach and Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire companies, as well as Lewes Fire Department, responded to the 37000 block of 1st Street for reports of a heavily involved fire. Upon arrival on the scene, firefighters found the fire exposed to nearby houses. Crews report battling the fire for three hours before successfully extinguishing it.
No injuries were reported at the scene.
The Delaware State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of this fire.
