Milton Zombie Fest 2025: “Apocalypse Edition” promises spooky fun for all ages
MILTON, Del. — One of the region’s most anticipated fall traditions is back — and this year, it’s bigger, louder, and scarier than ever.
The Milton Theatre’s Zombie Fest 2025 returns this Saturday with the chilling theme: “Apocalypse Edition.” Organizers are expecting thousands to descend on downtown Milton for an evening packed with eerie entertainment, fire-filled performances, and community spirit.
Among the main attractions is the Zombie Pyro-pocalypse, featuring so-called “freak show” acts, live music, and a sprawling Food Truck Festival. More than 55 local vendors will line the streets as part of the Zombie Vendor Village, offering themed merchandise, treats, and Halloween fare.
For families, Kid’s Fest — presented by the YMCA of Rehoboth — will run alongside the main event, with activities geared toward younger attendees.
“Just expect a great time, expect to be scared, expect to have fun,” said Jacey Brittingham, Director of Development for the Milton Theatre. “Dance, get your face painted like a zombie, enjoy amazing food trucks and vendors — it’s really something for everyone.”
In addition to the spooky celebration, the festival supports local causes, with proceeds helping to fund Milton Theatre’s ongoing community programming and youth initiatives.
The festival runs Saturday from 4 to 9 p.m. in Milton. Attendees are encouraged to come in costume — the more undead, the better.
