Maryland State Police investigating Salisbury shooting
SALISBURY, Md. – Maryland State Police are investigating a shooting that happened Monday evening in Salisbury.
According to MSP, around 5:16 p.m., troopers from the Salisbury Barrack responded to Mohawk Avenue, in the area of Miami Avenue, for a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, police learned that a 33-year-old woman had been transported to TidalHealth Peninsula Regional for treatment of her injuries.
Police believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public at this time.
