Hurlock Preparing for Annual Fall Festival
(HURLOCK, Md) – And speaking of events in Dorchester County, the Town of Hurlock is celebrating one of their big fall traditions this weekend.
The Town is celebrating their 32nd annual Fall Festival.
The festival was originally started in 1992 to commemmorate the 100 year anniversary of the town’s founding in 1892.
City Council President, Earl Murphy met with us to talk about how people are looking forward to the tradition.
Earl tells us, “It’s just a lot of fun. I mean, we see the kids enjoying the event and the citizens come out and have a good time as well. The people come from all over to ride the train and with the new train company…”
