Heart of Chesapeake Heritage Awards Registration Open

(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – The Dorchester County tourism office is looking for those who have a knack for historical preservation.

Registration is now open for the Heart of Chesapeake Country Heritage Area Awards. These awards are given to projects geared towards focusing on the heritage of Dorchester County, and come with grant money.

“It has to support heritage tourism. So every project, every application has to show that their project, will somehow support heritage tourism. So that’s the main goal,” says Mary Presutto with Dorchester County Tourism.
