Hardee’s partners with Food Bank of Delaware to combat hunger
DELAWARE — Hardee’s restaurants across Delaware are teaming up with the Food Bank of Delaware to collect non-perishable food items for families facing food insecurity.
From now through Nov. 15, all Hardee’s locations in the state will serve as drop-off points for donations, including canned vegetables, peanut butter, cereal, and pasta. Donation bins will be placed inside participating restaurants.
“We’re asking the community to help us out by donating non-perishable food items at any Delaware Hardee’s location,” said Suzanne Tesch, district manager for Hardee’s.
As an added incentive, donors will be entered into a drawing to win free Famous Star burgers for a year.
The initiative supports the Food Bank of Delaware’s ongoing mission to fight hunger across the state, especially as colder months approach and food insecurity tends to rise.
We want to also remind folks if your in a Maryland location and would to donate to this fight, you may do so and it will all be taken to the Delaware food bank.
