DSP Investigating Fatal Single-Car Crash in Seaford

SEAFORD, Del. – Delaware State Police (DSP) are investigating a single-car accident that killed one in Seaford on Wednesday afternoon.

At approximately 2:54 p.m. on Oct. 8, a Buick Enclave was traveling northbound on Seaford Road approaching Oneals Road, when it suddenly left the east side of the roadway and subsequently struck a tree.

The driver, a 63-year-old man from Seaford, was taken to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. His name is being withheld until his family is notified.

The DSP Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this crash. Troopers ask anyone who witnessed the crash or has relevant information to contact Corporal Grade One K.
