Drive-by Shooting in Dover Leaves Four Injured; Police Investigating
DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department is investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred Monday evening and left four injured.
At approximately 7:54 p.m. on Oct. 20, officers responded to the 100 block of Mifflin Road for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival on the scene, police located four victims; two 18-year-old males, a 21-year-old male, and a 23-year-old male, all from Dover.
A preliminary investigation by police revealed that the victims were at a residence on Mifflin Road when an unknown vehicle drove by. One or more suspects proceeded to shoot a weapon multiple times, injuring the victims. All victims were transported to Bayhealth Kent Campus for treatment.
Police have no leads to share at this time.
