Card Skimmers found at Shore Stop in Crisfield

CRISFIELD, Md. – The Somerset County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) announced on Wednesday that credit card skimmers had been found at a gas station in Crisfield.

Authorities say that an investigation into fraudulent card transactions was being conducted by the SCSO Criminal Investigation Division, when it led to the discovery of skimmers on gas pumps at Shore Stop on Richardson Avenue.

The investigation remains ongoing at this time. SCSO urges anyone that has been a victim of the aforementioned fraud, or individuals with pertinent information to this investigation, to please contact Detective Mumford of the CID unit at (410-651-9225).
