Car Rolls Over After Striking Mailbox in Ocean Pines

OCEAN PINES, Md. – The Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department responded to a single car accident that resulted in vehicle roll over on Wednesday morning.

At approximately 9:50 a.m. on Oct. 8, crews were dispatched to the area of 26 Ocean Parkway for a reported vehicle accident. Upon arrival on the scene, crews found a single vehicle that had struck a USPS mailbox and subsequently overturned.

Fire and EMS personnel quickly assessed the scene and evaluated the driver, who declined additional medical treatment and transport. Crews secured the vehicle and mitigated hazards while ensuring the safety of nearby residents and traffic. No injuries were reported in connection with this incident.
