TidalHealth holds free cancer screenings at Atlantic General

BERLIN, Md. – TidalHealth Atlantic General Hospital is offering breast and cervical screenings.

The screenings started at 5 p.m. and ended at 8 p.m. Practitioners Dr. Margo Gill and Christine Neto.

These free screenings are another way to combat cancer. Dr. Gill says the cancer survival rate goes up when you detect it earlier.

Dr. Gill said that women should prioritize their health.

In general – most women feel they are primary caretakers to others and are very busy trying to make everything well for everyone else to the sacrifice of ourselves. We must realize this is important.”
