YMCA of the Chesapeake Waiving Membership Fees in September

DELMARVA – Throughout the month of September, all 11 YMCA of the Chesapeake branches will waive the $75 joining fee for new members.

“September is a natural time for fresh starts,” said Robbie Gill, CEO of the YMCA of the Chesapeake. “Whether you’re looking to build healthy habits, spend more time together as a family, or connect with your community, the Y is here for you. More than a gym or a pool, the Y is a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together to grow stronger in spirit, mind and body.”

Those who sign up for a membership will have access to all Y locations under the YMCA of the Chesapeake, along with YMCAs throughout Maryland and participating Ys across the country. The membership includes over 300 fitness classes, free “Stay & Play” childcare while parents work out, and discounts on youth sports and programs.
