Wor-Wic to Celebrate 50th Anniversary with Community Arts Showcase

SALISBURY, Md. – Wor-Wic Community College is celebrating its 50th anniversary on Friday, Sept. 12, with a Community Arts Showcase of Excellence.

The event will feature visual arts such as painting and sculpture, as well as performing arts such as music, dance, and theater. Performances and arts will encompass a wide range of genres, and activities for kids will be available, making it an evening of fun for the entire family. Food trucks will also be on campus for attendees to purchase dinner while they enjoy the festivities.

Visual arts will be in Shockley Hall with exhibits opening at 3:00 p.m. Performing arts will be showcased in Guerrieri Hall, with different performances every 15 minutes, starting at 4:30 p.m.

The showcase is free and open to the public, and will last until 8:00 p.m.
