Wicomico Co. NAACP hosting annual Freedom Fund Gala

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – The Wicomico County chapter of the NAACP is hosting its 20th annual Freedom Fund Gala.

This year’s theme is 20 Years Bold, A celebration of courage and community. The event helps raise funds for the different initiatives the local chapter is involved with, as well as scholarships they give to students.

NAACP officials encourage everyone interested in joining them for a night of community fun and delicious food.

“Anyone can get tickets, anyone can attend, you can get tables, you can still sponsor, and you can buy individual tickets,” said Monica Brooks.
