UPDATE: DSP Arrest Man for Milford Knife-Point Robberies

UPDATE: Delaware State Police have made an arrest in connection with two knife-point robberies that occurred at separate convenience stores in Milford.

Through investigative means, DSP detectives, working with Dover Police, identified 29-year-old Terrell Boyce of Greenwood as the suspect for the two robberies in Milford and a separate knife-point robbery that occurred in Dover.

Detectives obtained a warrant for Boyce’s arrest and he was taken into custody on Sunday without incident. He was charged with multiple crimes, including two counts of first degree robbery.

Boyce was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $110,000 cash bond.

 

MILFORD, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred Friday evening at the Valero Shore Stop in Milford.

At approximately 8:00 p.m. on Sept. 19, troopers responded to the gas station following reports of a robbery. A preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown suspect entered the business, brandished a knife, and demanded that the clerk open the cash registers. The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of money and cigars before fleeing the scene. No one was physically injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing dark clothing.

This incident follows a separate knife-point robbery that occurred on Sept. 15 in Milford at the Shawnee Country Store.

The Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this incident. Anyone who witnessed the robbery or has relevant information is asked to contact Detective J.
