Soles for Seniors

SALISBURY, Md. — The MAC Inc. Area Agency on Aging in Salisbury is bringing back its Soles for Seniors event on October 4.

This is the agency’s largest event of the year and serves as an opportunity to explore the services MAC offers to the community.

The event will feature facility tours, live music, food and drinks, a craft vendor market, and a mile-long walk to raise money for local seniors.

It’s a family-friendly event with numerous activities for all ages.

Nick Cranford, community relations and development coordinator for MAC, said, “We’re extremely excited because it’s a fundraiser, and the more money we can raise, the more people in the community we can help. And it’s a multifaceted event. There’s a number of things going on, and it’s kind of like an open house for our organization. It’s a great chance for people to come out and see our facility and learn a little bit more about what we do.”

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
