School Bus Collision in Millsboro

MILLSBORO, Del. – The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company responded to a traffic collision involving a school bus on Tuesday afternoon.

At approximately 3:49 p.m. on Sept. 16, authorities responded to a vehicle accident involving a school bus on John J. Williams Highway near Autumn Road. It was reported to be a rear-end type collision, with minor damage occurring to both vehicles. Forty children were aboard the bus, and no injuries were reported.

Indian River says their response units included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Squad 80 from the Long Neck facility, and the Delaware State Fire Police.

The Delaware State Police are currently investigating this accident.
